As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I have no fear. Because I am the meanest mother fucker in the whole valley. - General George S. Patton
Donnie has been involved in strength training and fitness since 2002. His resume includes being a member of the United States Army Intell Corps, Teaching group strength and conditioning boot camp classes and amatuer strongman competitions, including the Central Florida Strongman championship, held in August of 2008, where he placed 5th in a competition with over 40 competitors. The following explains his journey from being obease to extreme strength and overall fitness.

The skinny guy in the beret above this, thats me, Donnie Kiernan. The picture was taken directly after basic training graduation. I was skinny and weak, which is what basic training will do to you. Before we get to far, lets back up a bit here.
My fitness career was initiated later in life. I was 21 years old when I finally decided that enough was enough. My weight was a monstrous 315 pounds without an ounce a muscle to be found. I began weight training for show; to look good for the ladies, which was quite sucessful might I add! In early 2006, my goals changed and I began conditioning myself for the military training I would soon be receiving. After my active duty training career had ended, I began to shift focus to strength and conditioning, which eventually led to my strongman competition training. My focus has changed several times in the past 6 years, but what hasnt is my overall goal of achieving superb fitness while maintaining the maximum amount of strength.

The experience with both military physical fitness and strength and conditioning have helped me achive maximum levels of strength while staying withing the standards of the United States Army. I have authored several training/motivational articles and interviews with top level athletes in the strength and conditioning sport, many of which have current or prior military service.
My goal now is to help you, the highly motivated “every man” who wants to learn to train like the best! I want to help you incorperate strength training into your required physical fitness standards. Like anything else you’ve endured throughout your life, being strong and conditioned is not easy, but can be achived with hard work, extreme dedication and help from my experiences.
