Whats up warriors? This is just a quick post to let you know that the Ebook ” Maximize your PT” is finished and in the Reviewing/PDF stages right now.
I stayed up until 3am last night finishing the book and even thought I was beyond tired, I was so motivated to get it done. There’s so much new information that can revolutionize the fitness of soldiers, marines, police and firemen, I just had to do what I could to finish it quickly!
You will be able to get your very own copy in less than 2 weeks, so don’t fret. Best part is, I’m giving away my years of knowledge, blood, sweat and tears for less than 20 bucks!
Many people have told me that I should charge up to 60 or 70 dollars, but I just cant do that. I personally know that things are tough all over and I couldn’t, in good conscious, charge a higher price than needed just to make an extra buck or two. I know that knowledge is worth its weight in gold, but what good is knowledge if no one can afford it?
So yes folks, after many months of thought and preparation, your manual to unconventional PT and strength training is almost here. Please tell you friends, teammates, battle buddies and anyone you think might be interested. Although this manual is geared towards Military and Para-Military, the training will be MOREthan beneficial for your everyday guy or girl, as long as you posses the motivation.
Next week I’ll have the link to the page where it will be available for purchase. Its instantly downloadable so there’s no shipping, waiting a week, etc.
I’m sure you can tell that I’m REALLY excited about this launch, and I hope you are too. I promise that you will get all your moneys worth, PLUS some out of this manual.

February 4th, 2009 — Advice, Articles, Deep Thoughts
When I started blogging, over a year ago on my skinnykidslog.blogspot.com site, I did it just for the hell of it. I knew I had a witty writing style, and I needed an online training log. Why not combine them.
Flash forward to today, i’m up to my pie hole in SEO(search engine optimization) knowledge and I sometimes forget to write for myself, not for the computer bots that will help my website succeed.
Its a complete catch 22.
The beauty of writing my newest book, “Maximize your PT” is that I don’t have to worry about putting keywords like “military fitness”, “firefighter fitness” or “Strength training” in the post ( see what I did there?
). I can just write about things I know and am passionate about. Sometimes that leads to rambles, but I don’t care. I think that when listening to a smart person speak, the ramble is where you learn the most. Pre-thought out words are nice, but they don’t show the true emotion of someone who loves what they are preaching.
Try to remember this when your blogging or reading a blog ” Do I sound like I’m passionate about what I do?” If you aren’t, Is it because you’re not passionate, or are you trying to please someone other than yourself? People will appreciate a good personality and a “human” feel much more than a robot spiting out the next greatest thing in the fitness world. Welcome to web 2.0!
Â
As I promised, heres a couple paragraphs from the “unconventional training” section of the new Ebook, “Maximize your PT” Its being finished finished as we speak and after editing and everything else that I have no idea how to do gets done, You’ll be able to own it for a VERY reasonable price.
…………..Odd object and unconventional training is what I do, love and rant about constantly. The beauty of this style training is its cheap, effective and efficient.
A) cheap- You don’t need a gym membership, big weight set or any fancy machines. Most of the equipment I use was given to me by people wanting to get rid of it. Example. I have 4 different sized tractor tires, ranging from 300lbs to 700 lbs. All of which were FREE! In fact, the most expensive piece of equipment I own is a set of dumbbells with plate weights and a 20 dollar sledge hammer.
That’s it!
B) effective. This stuff works, plain and simple. It gives your body the necessary strain it required to force the adaptation of a stronger, healthier body, mind and spirit, ready to fight!
C) efficient. 20-30 minutes of circuit style training with odd objects is the rational equivilent to an 60-90 minutes of conventional cardiovascular training and 45 minutes of weight training. With functional training, you have the heavy weights need to gain strength and size, combined with the fast pace needed to elevate the heart rate and burn calories.
K.I.S.S.—- Keep It Simple, Stupid! it’s a motto I live by. Too many times I come across people who just over complicate their training and end up either confused and giving up, or not seeing the results they desire.
Theres no need to reinvent the wheel!
The things im saying to you right now were not made up by me. Its true, all im doing is taking older methods of training and implementing them into a different setting. The same results will yield for all, the only difference is the sport of event that you are training for…………
Keep up that “new years spirit” and you’ll succeed!
January 3rd, 2009 — Articles, Deep Thoughts

Hey, Hope you had a safe and happy new year celebration. I can tell you that 09 WILL be my best year yet, Hope you’re striving for the same.
While I was “vacationing”(meaning not working), I posted an article I recently wrote. Im sure that you’ve noticed by now that I’ve been shifting my focus of this blog to more of a combat fitness niche and this article has everything to do with military and para-military fitness. (On a side note, I originally started this blog for combat related fitness, so this really isnt anything new)
So you’re not the PT stud you used to be?
Does that exclude anyone else who has followed me thus far? NO!!
The training isn’t changing, just the focus of the blog. Ive trained this way for years and I always got snide remarks from military traditionalist. Most people think that you have to run 3-4 miles everyday to become conditioned for a timed run. You have to do 100 pushups a day to pass a pushup test, etc. With this website and my training, I’m going to prove the old school guys wrong, Believe that.
So I look forward to a great year with all of my current followers and new friends that have yet to sign up. I live to train hard and to teach and this is my outlet for both.

PS. Spread the word about this site and email newsletter. I welcome any and everyone who wants to use alternative training methods to get real world results!

Before any big name websites like EliteFTS.com or Criticalbench.com get a hold of my new article about my military beginnings, you can see it here first.
How I passed basic training at 235lbs
I think its one of my best, if not my best yet.
I’m at my finest in life when I’m talking about or doing something that I am passionate about. Strength training and my military service are two of the most important things in my life, so naturally I’m passionate when I speak about them.
Make sure you check this out TODAY. I never was the fastest guy in the army, but I was always the strongest. Follow my lead and you can be too.
