Behind every successful man and woman, there are several successful people who helped them along the way. That goes for everything from strength training, to high level executives.
A persons support system can be one of the single most important factors between success and failure. Today I sit down and talk about my business and training support system. I don’t make mention of my family and friends because everyone who knows me, knows that they are my rock. Without them, I AM NOTHING! This video blog talks of the people who selflessly extended a helping hand( knowingly or not) to help some random kid who had a love for getting strong while making a living from it.
To you all, I say sincerely, THANK YOU!

Get Strong, Stay Strong and help somebody, If you can!
Tomorrow is a very important day. The United States of America is electing a new leader to try and resuscitate our economy and overall moral. For you readers abroad, although you have no say in this election, it still affects you in many ways, especially financially. For my domestic readers, I urge you.
VOTE!
Take 10 minutes and educate yourself on the candidates and come to a conclusion on your own. Dont listen to all the slanderous bullshit that is thrown at you from both sides, do your own research so you are independently knowledgeable. For anyone who is a small business owner life myself, this election is even more important to you, so make your voice heard.
My fellow soldiers fight in lands where free elections aren’t available, and they see what that does to an entire populous. America has the freedom to choose who want to represent us, so go and do it. If my tiny voice isn’t enough to sway you, then I leave you with this final note.
The best thing about training at a hardcore gym is usually the lack of air conditioning, metal slamming all around you and some badass music blaring on the cheap entertainment system. If I’m training with Ryan, we usually throw on mix of hardcore and screamo and just get in “the zone”(chief). Unfortunatly, at most gyms you can expect a fantastic play list that usually consists of Britney spears, beyonce and if you’re LUCKY, Eminem.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love beyonce and if given the chance, I’d do things to her that i cant mention in good conscience on this blog post, but when it comes to training I need some upbeat stuff that gets me angry at the weights. Lets call a spade a spade here, when we are training, its WAR. War against the weights and if you aren’t prepared, you will lose! My music is part of my arsenal and Ill be damned if i lose the war.Â

As men, we are pretty simple folk. We require 3 things: Food, sex and beer. If we can have all 3 at once, well… that’s when marriage comes into play. A few weeks ago, I received a request from a reader(who happens to be an attractive young lady) asking what men want to see women train to be more attractive. I thought this was a great idea for a video blog, so I began filming.
With men being men, I had to try and keep it PG13 for any of my younger readers, and believe me that wasn’t easy. But without further chit chat, here is this weeks entry of Combatfitnessblog.com Video.
Tell me what you think!
