Yeap, its that time again. This Thursday, April 30th at 8PM EST, ill be hosting a live Ustream conference. The Topic, you ask?
Preparing yourself for battle!
Â
Not just the literal aspect, but for any competition you will be facing, you need to know the proper things to do and not to do.
I’ll be explaining how I prepare for a field training exercise (which ill be leaving for at 330 AM, Friday morning) so if your thinking about joining a military service or you just want to see what goes in to the prep work, come check it out.
After I’m done, ill open the floor to ANY QUESTIONS you may have about ANY kind of battle/competition prep. or training in general. I’m an open book, so dont be shy.
Once again, thats THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH @ 8PM EST!!!!! As always, the Ustream conferences are FREE!
If you’ve been following along for the past week, you know that my coach and friend Elliott Hulse was preparing for a strongman competition which, If he won, would give him professional status in the American Strongman Corp.
Well heres the final update. How did Elliott do? Well if you were following my Twitter or Facebook, you’d already know. For those who dont know, Heres the little video I put together of the show. Enjoy, troops!
(disclaimer. I didnt video 2 of the events, so your only seeing the last 3 events. For a full recap, head over to HulseStrength.com and check out his video.)
So i got a chance to sit down with Elliott Hulse today, while he was 1 day out from a HUGE competition where he will be competing for profession status.
I’m going to warn you, Elliott was starved and dehydrated so the interview is a bit erratic, spontaneous and most of all, ENTERTAINING.
Check out this small interview of Elliott talking about his training routine, rest days, and “underground” training.
Stay tuned for footage of the show on Combatfitnessblog.com
And a small group in Fiji, Japan has answered that call.
Its great to see military units finally coming around to unconventional strength training. Especially when everything they need to train is right in the local supply closet or motor pool
Check out this video of marines getting down and dirty with some badass strength and fitness training.
